While there have been an increase in Windows 7 leaks over the past few weeks, in the latest builds End User License Agree (EULA) there has been a change in the "Installation Use and Rights" section. The EULA now clearly states that Microsoft is considering releasing Windows 7 Home Premium in a "Family Pack", the "Family Pack" will allow you to install Windows 7 on up to 3 PCs in your home. The "Family Pack" is exclusive to Windows 7 Home Premium, therefore you will not be able to purchase a "Family Pack" for Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Ultimate.
In the "Installation Use and Rights" section of the Windows 7 Home Premium EULA it states the following:
"b. Family Pack. If you are a "Qualified Family Pack User", you may install one copy of the software marked as "Family Pack" on three computers in your household for use by people who reside there. Those computers are the "licensed computers" and are subject to these license terms. If you do not know whether you are a Qualified Family Pack User, visit go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?Linkid=141399 or contact the Microsoft affiliate serving your country."
When asked about the "Family Pack" licensing, our sources informed us that Microsoft is considering it.
