Today, Microsoft confirmed that they will be offering the Windows 7 Home Premium family pack in select markets and that it will in fact allow users to install Windows 7 Home Premium on up to 3 PCs. The company did not mention pricing details for the family pack at this time, pricing will be announced at a later date.
In addition to announcing the family pack, Microsoft also confirmed that MSDN/TechNet subscribers will get Windows 7 on August 6, 2009. Also, despite the rumors, tech beta testers will not be receiving a free copy of the RTM build as the company did for Windows Vista when it was completed.
