Microsoft will be delivering a number of new items in the upcoming Xbox LIVE update, one of the most notable is Games on Demand.
Starting on August 11, you will be able to download full Xbox 360 games and play them without a disc, with new game titles added every Tuesday. Xbox LIVE Games on Demand provides convenient, 24×7 access to a growing online library of popular game titles. At the touch of a button, browse and download full Xbox 360 games from the comfort of your living room. With direct download and play from your Xbox, you can switch quickly between games.

Microsoft is also updating the avatars, now you will be able to equip your avatar with animated items they can interact with and carry around. Also, there will be an Avatar Marketplace where you’ll be able to download and purchase items, including branded apparel from your favorite fashion labels and Xbox 360 games.
In addition, the company is also updating Netflix, now you’ll be able to watch movies with your friends and find new movies to add to your Instant Queue without leaving your Xbox 360. Not only that, you’ll be able to see what movies your friends are watching straight from the Friends channels and in the Guide.
