CBS To Release Volume 2 NCIS Soundtrack
For those of you NCIS fans out there, you may be interested in learning that CBS Studios will be releasing a second soundtrack for the hit show “NCIS”. Last year CBS Studios released the first soundtrack titled “NCIS: The official TV Soundtrack” which was a double disc release that featured several exclusive tracks from notable artists like Seether, John Mellencamp and also featured two songs performed by two of the shows actors Pauley Perrette who performs the self-composed “Fear” under the moniker Stop Making Friends, Cote de Pablo whose memorable performance of Tom Waits’ “Temptation” from the Season 6 premiere episode, “Last Man Standing”.
The new soundtrack titled “NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack – Volume 2” will feature exclusive and unreleased tracks from some of today’s top artists. The soundtrack will be released in stores on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 and is available for pre-order through Amazon. The soundtrack will feature a song written by Micheal Weatherly who plays “Special Agent Tony DiNozzo” on NCIS. The track listing for NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack Volume 2 is as follows:

To coincide with the album’s release date, the November 3rd episode of NCIS will prominently feature Bob Dylan’s “California” – a never-before-released track that originally dates from the Bringing It All Back Home sessions and has remained locked in the vaults until now. “California” has been newly mixed and mastered and is a true gem from one of music’s greatest artists. The remaining tracks will be placed in NCIS episodes throughout the current season, which ends in May 2010.
