In October 2009, Sevendust started recording their new album titled “Cold Day Memory” and today the band has released a new track from the album. The track titled “Forever Dead” is the first track to be released from the album.
"It’s getting close to time to previewing a new song for all of you. Keep an eye out this week and next for a new song that we will post for everyone that has been waiting. We wanted to release a preview to the hardcore fans that have been with us, and give you a taste of what’s to come. Still putting together the final touches, but the second the song is ready we’ll have it up for all to hear. We want you to have something fresh to listen to to gear up for the new tour coming in February."
Today the band held true to their promise and delivered “Forever Dead” as an early preview of what’s to come on their upcoming album “Cold Day Memory”. “Forever Dead” is a perfect resemblance of their previous albums and I for one and really digging the track. While the band released “Forever Dead” today, Sevendust is planning to release the first official single titled “Unraveling”, according to Hard Drive’s Lou Brutus the single should be released soon.
“Cold Day Memory” will feature 12 tracks in total, the track listing is as below:
Splinter
Forever Dead
Unraveling
Last Breath
Karma
