Currently, Playstation 3 owners who try to access the Playstation Store are met with a maintainance message, but this is expected to change very soon.
Sony has sent a memo to developers, advising them that should nothing else goes wrong in the meantime, the
Playstation Store should be up and running on May 24th.
Once full service is restored, Sony will then allow users registered on PSN (Before and on 20th April 2011) to download some titles free as part of their
"Welcome Back" package.
Update: This date has now been revised, and the Playstation Store is expected to be online very soon.
