me me me me :D

Not sure how this thing will perform on the PC but i sure hope it does well because to be honest that is where Battlefield first came on the scene, i won't play some poor quality console port, i'd rather just buy it for the PS3 in that case!

I have it for PC be warned: the system requirements are HIGHLY IMPORTANT if you want a great experience, anyway I wanna see what it's all about before I buy it on the Xbox 360.

EDIT: I know it doesnt make much sense, but I didn't play the first Battlefield Bad Company. I might have to pick it up for the Xbox 360 and pick up Battlefield: Bad Company 2 as well and play them back-to-back.

All games made these days are console ports so you'd probably be better of buying it for the PS3.

Indeed, PC gaming as we used to know it is over. More importantly, it is probably more benificial this way to the end user and will allow them (the developer) to easily update games and add or change things. Granted, it pi**es all the people off who swear by dedicated servers, not to mention it's not very organized and it's harder to find games when on dedicated servers. Sure back in 2003 I enjoyed them because I was playing the original CoD online (and getting my ass kicked by Shawn) because it allowed us to add mods and such to the game to make it more interesting. However, now I just play the game for what it is, I could care less if they were to ever bring dedicated servers back. Of course, now I only play games on the Xbox 360, although, I did install the original CoD on my PC (I have both CoD and CoD 2 for PC) and I felt like going back and playing through the game again because after all it is what made CoD what is today.

thats a thought i dont like, the PC is a versatile platform and while consoles have similar features the possibilities are endless.

Well consoles make them the most money since its harder to pirate a game on that.
PC gamers shot them self in the foot by illegally downloading games instead of buying them.

i agree with you there, but i think some of the measures taken to prevent piracy actually cause more grief for those with legitimate copies. I own a Playstation 3 and did own an Xbox 360 too which i gave away because at the end of the day, i am a PC gamer through and through. Bite me :D
