No i've not lost the plot. I saw this a while ago and intended to mention it.

The Bat Signal function was to help users find Windows easier, however it quickly became clear that although it was lovely to look at, if you were to accidentally roll over the taskbar, highlighting a window quickly turned your desktop into a light show.

Personally i don't know why they didn't make it so you did a keyboard + Cursor hover, would of been cool to have had it...but i'm just a sucker for eye candy
