While the Radeon Xpress 200 works on Windows Vista perfectly, it doesn't work properly on Windows 7. This fix will allow you to access all available resolutions and will also enable Aero. This should work on both the 32Bit and 64Bit version of Windows 7 and may work on Windows 8 too!

Firstly Download 9-8_legacy_vista32-64_dd_ccc.exe.

Run the .exe file, allowing the files to extract (usually to C:\ATI)

When 'Catalyst' tries to install, click Exit.

Go to Device Manager in Control Panel and open your display properties.

Click 'Update Drivers' found under the 'Driver' tab.

Choose 'Browse my Computer for Driver Software', navigate to C:\ATI\SUPPORT\9-8_legacy_vista32-64_dd_ccc\Packages\Drivers\Display\LH_INF

Note: One of the .inf files supports 32 bit Windows and the other the 64 bit Version of Windows.

Select the .inf file (mine was cl_85694.inf) before clicking ok.

Now Click Model, and scroll down to ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series. Select it and press Next. Ignore any messages, and proceed.

Restart your Machine and voila! Your computer will now allow you to use Aero (note: you may need to change themes for it to come into effect).

Of course while these methods work the majority of the time, sometimes there have been cases where users have found their video driver to crash.
