Download Site

Check it out for yourself. The newest version of IE is out and this one is fantastic. No longer do coders have to work around IE when they build their websites. IE9 is the first browser released by Microsoft to actually be Standard Compliant!

Which means that the W3C standards are now followed. Acid2 & Acid3 Tests are performed as well as the HTML5 tests. IE9 is Microsoft's first attempt to be compliant with someone other than themself. So go easy. It may not be perfect, but it is their first attempt to do what Firefox, Chrome and Opera have been doing for a while now.

I personally like it but i cannot use it yet because British Gas refuse to support IE 9.0 and they don't seem to like Opera or Chrome either :(

Have you tried the Compatibility View? It should be right up in the address bar right by the refresh button. That should allow the site to operate as if it was in IE8 Mode. In the Command Bar there is the option for checking the Page Settings for any particular page. So you can add that site and it will always open in Compatibility Mode for you.

That is if you wish to use IE9 more often. LOL
