I have a sony vaio laptop which came with windows 7 home premium x64 and all worked fine until i did an anytime upgrade to windows 7 ultimate x64. For some strange reason my blue tooth and wed cam get shut down. This is totally random as some times they can be on for 30 mins and other times for less than 5 mins. Iv tried removing software that i have added since the upgrade but to no avail. Its possible that it could be a usb driver problem as there are times that i plug in my ipod touch and windows says its installing driver when its installed already. Only thing iv not tried yet is factory reset but i really don't want to down grade windows 7. Ohh yeah before anybody says, i have googled the problem with no luck.

Nothing really conclusive from what i can see on the threads shown, i also searched for webcam after anytime upgrade...it might end up being a full reinstall for you pal
May be worth trying to remove old drivers, remove hardware from within device manager and restarting to let Windows find the hardware and try installing drivers that way.

@ Karl, i did as you suggested although id done it before and same result (zilch).
@ Alex, no m8 i don't have the image you sent me. The one i have was downloaded from another source and i do believe that's the problem so if you could upload again i would appreciate it very much as it looks like I'm going to have to strip back and start again. Thank heaven for external drives.
