According to Reuters, Iran have once again been the target of a cyber attack.

Gholamreza Jalali, commander of the Iranian Civil Defense Organization stated that "The particular characteristics of the Stars virus have been discovered,"

He went on to say that "The virus is congruous and harmonious with the (computer) system and in the initial phase it does minor damage and might be mistaken for some executive files of government organization."

While he did not reveal what the intended target was thought to be, it is possible that like the Stuxnet worm, the aim is to disrupt and sabotage Iran's nuclear program.
