My workstation is getting old by todays standards - that said this particular Phenom chip will outpace a lot of the early FX chips and it does do very well but it's just starting to show it's age and since Intel has well and truly left AMD behind, i'm guessing my next upgrade will also be a switch - currently looking at the i5 4960k but will have to wait till Christmas is out of the way first  :(

Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition 3.4Ghz
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
2GB XFX Radeon HD 7750
Asus M4A87TD/USB3 870 Socket AM3
1TB Storage (x2 500GB Sata)
700W PSU

24" ViewSonic Widescreen Monitor

I dont have a desktop at the min, just my i5 laptop. I would like to get a new build going though so to that end i see a management competition. I,ll give you all 12 months to see what you can do. Best build wins best build lol

I love the Core Quad/Core Duo chips. Bought a few of the Core Duo's in Laptop and Desktop form over the past few years. Very very solid performers and as you say, holding up strong still!
