Apple TV to be used for Online Gaming?

A tipster has alerted Engadget to the possibility that Apple TV could support Online Gaming. This would give people more reason to have the gadget in their homes, becoming a fully fledged entertainment center with the potential to shake up the competition.

Code found in the iOS 4.3 beta contains references to "ATVGames" and "ATVThunder" suggesting a controller, leaderboard and store front and with code like "com.apple.appletv.play.live.thunder" and ".play.archive.thunder" the evidence is just stacking up.

References to 'Sedona' hint at Video merchandising while 'Flagstaff' may be for account types and merchants. In truth there is little to go on here so we'll just have to wait and see.
