While it has been speculated over the course of last year, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games are officially working on the next installment of Call of Duty. The title, Call of Duty: MW3 (or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3) has been in development for some time now and today we recieve the first offical "Reveal trailer".

The trailer is similar to the one released regarding the previous installment in the Modern Warfare series, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. However, the one for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is different. It looks like from this trailer we will see more action in the United States, inside New York as opposed to being in Washington D.C. this time.
The trailer is the first of many reveal trailers to be released, this comes ahead of E3 which is scheduled for June 7-9, 2011 and it is expected that Activision along with Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games will officially unveil gameplay from the game as they have done since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Creative Strategist Robert Bowling confirmed via Twitter: "http://fzt.me/MW3now Wasn't planned, but you're clearly hyped, so here is the 1st of many Modern Warfare 3 videos coming in hot today! #MW3"
