A Sony representative has confirmed to press in Tokyo, that the new Playstation Vita will not be made available in the US or Europe until early 2012. Those lucky enough to live in Japan however, will be able to buy the device this year.
Sony will be all too aware that they are missing out on the biggest opportunity of the year, Christmas. Instead, Shoppers are likely to look at competing products such as the Nintendo 3DS,

The Vita has a 4 Core CPU, a touchscreen and even 2 Cameras.
