Windows 8 to be handed out at BUILD Conference -----

Microsoft will be handing out a pre-beta build of Windows 8 (Build 8100) at the Build Conference this week.

What the build will contain is unknown at this moment in time, and its still unclear whether the build will be made officially available to those who cannot attend the event.
Previously, members of the public were forced to wait for the Official beta.

Already screenshots of the build have surfaced on several sites including the MDL Forums.
