It looks like the ongoing spat between Apple and HTC isn't about to end anytime soon.

Since being found guilty of violating two patents held by Apple, the Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has responded with a lawsuit of its own.

Although the exact nature of the lawsuit are unknown, It is thought that HTC will try to have a previous judgment overturned, that found Apple not guilty of violating patents held by HTC owned S3.

Google's Eric Schmidt slammed Apple, calling them jealous and vowed to support HTC.

Bring it on HTC. Apple seem reluctant to go for goggle so good of them to support HTC.

To be honest i'm sick of all this patent nonsense. It seems that none of the companies are really interested in protecting intellectual property, and are using it as a means to eliminate competition.
